From 1976, when she arrived in Europe, until the present day, she has resided and performed between Spain, Africa, Italy and the Middle East. The artist currently resides in the Maresme region of Catalunya, near Barcelona.
Her concerts have been offered in theatres, open air, ballrooms and in nightclubs both on land and at sea on board luxury cruise liners. Her vocal and interpretative skills have been defined as "incomparable, personal and vibrant, to the point of making her audience feel free to involve themselves in her performance". She has had occasion to perform in Grand Gala on three continents, where her class, elegance, seriousness and professionalism are always in harmony with the actual audience.
Her musical formation can be: with piano, trio, quartet or big band, depending on the occasion, offering her songs in her native English, as well as Spanish, Italian, French and sometimes in German, Greek, Portuguese or Egyptian Arabic.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS
Gwen collects elephants, small angels and small boxes of all kinds of materials.
She is currently a member of BWN (Barcelona Women's Network). BWN is a nonprofit, nonpolitical and nonreligious organization whose purpose is to foster friendship, goodwill and understanding among women of all nationalities; to provide a support network for women living in Barcelona and environs; and to engage in educational, cultural, social activities and fundraising for charities. In the past she has been a member of like organizations in Palma de Majorca (Club ELSA), Cairo, Egypt (Spanish Speaking Ladies Club and the International Women's Club).
